Employees involvement
Somfy Foundation leans on a network of Somfy’s employees who volunteer during their working time to support projects identified by the Foundation. Their commitments enable to build solid partnerships with the non-profit organizations’ needs to help vulnerable people.
Somfy Foundation is aware of its essential role at the core of the common interest, and thus wishes to get involved as close as possible to local needs. Therefore the Fondation has developed since 2012 a human help thanks to a precious dialogue including Somfy’s employees and non-profit associations.
The Somfy’s human strength is at the service of people in needs and to bring a support to associations working for the homeless or people in great precariousness.. This skill-sharing patronage with Somfy employees contributes to the encounter between an employee and a local non-profit orgnisation, for those who want to connect more with the harsh reality surrounding them.
By identifying non-profit associations’ needs Somfy Foundation suggests missions to Somfy’s employees who are free to get involved according to their wishes and availabilities. Employees get the possibility to volunteer three day per year on their working time to help non-profit associations by realising operationnal missions : painting, construction work or more strategic missions thanks to the skills patronage.
